Apple Cider Floats

Hey there- Had this sweet treat with pop corn for a movie night last week.  Our lit group read Jonathan Foer’s Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and were intrigued by the characters, absorbed by the events.  So we decided to gather on over to our house on Sunday night to watch the movie version of the story together.  This is kind of a If You Give a Mouse a Cookie scenario– the book led to the movie and, of course, if you see a movie you have to have pop corn and if you have pop corn, you’ll want something sweet to drink…

APPLE CIDER FLOATS
This isn’t really a recipe, just an idea.
Float two scoops of ice cream in a tumbler of carbonated apple cider– Frost the glasses ahead in the freezer and serve it up with straws and a spoon– and of course, with pop corn and a movie!
