“Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones. And when you have finished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. God is awake.” –Victor Hugo
(1802-1885) French poet, novelist, dramatist.
I take a lot of comfort in this thought. I hope you do as well…
what a beautiful thought, thank you so much for sharing it Rhonda. I am going to share this with my family.
I thought it was beautiful and so true.
yes it is beautiful, a very comforting thought, I particularly love this one too from Matthew:
“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? “And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? “And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,…
We spend so much time trying to control things and trying to give things the correct orientation, and we often end up discovering that in retrospect we would have made a different decision, or that which we really wanted, wouldn’t have actually been a good choice.
Thank you it’s a wonderful thought.
hi Suzanne– Happy Thanksgiving from across the country. xoxo

Love you Shawna– Hopeful you’ll have a dear Thanksgiving with your family even with your recent sorrow…
