“If you wait until you can do everything for everybody, instead of something for somebody, you’ll end up not doing nothing for nobody.” ~ Malcom Bane
Hello dear friends– Helpful people. I’ll bet you know a few of them. When we lived in Spain I had a tennis playing buddy, Tenti, who lived downstairs in our apartment block. One day as we were batting balls back and forth, I told her I had to to quit a bit early–needed to do a bunch of ironing to be ready for a trip the next day.
As I set up my ironing board and looked over my waiting rumpled pile of clothes, the doorbell ran. It was Tenti, iron and ironing board in hand, offering to help. What a happy surprise– we ironed and talked through the afternoon…
So I’m thinking if that little serendipitous bit of help gave me such joy, I should slow down, stop rushing by people who could use some unexpected help, be more intentional about giving a helping hand. God help me…
thanks to the tumbler–Simply Good Stuff for the snowman picture.
And now I am thinking again of how much you helped us getting ready for our move. WHAT would we have done without you dear Rhonda?
I LOVE the snowman graphic!
Thank you again for all your help… with so many things.
Love you.
Ruth you are a jewel– a person who knows how to give…
Hugs to you today. Hope this is a good week for you.
