Hello friends– There are times when your heart is overflowing with gratitude, thankfulness brimming out unbidden. Other days you have to summon up that thankfulness, days you feel more worn than thankful.
It’s choosing to be thankful– for today. For meatballs and spaghetti waiting on the stove top, the a stack of books fresh from the library, for hugs from friends at church this morning and for people who ask “how are you doing?” and really want to know. I’m thankful today for the gaggle of grand-girls walking to Sunday School with me and for the quiet at the end of the day. Thankful for the faithfulness of God through this day and all my days…
“…give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for o in Christ Jesus.”
I Thessalonians 5:28
