Waiting Again

tumblr_n02xrwNVln1r1urdoo1_1280Hello friends– We’re waiting for a few things around here, things beyond our control,  and you know that’s not easy.  So finding this thought from C.S. Lewis, was a good reminder for me…

“We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.
In him our heart rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.
May your unfailing love rest upon us. O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.”
–Psalm 33:20 to 22.

    • Hi Kate– I’ve been wanting to respond to some of the imminently worthwhile posts on your blog– but I can’t manage to find a comment spot. Is this your take a break still? Love your blog…

        • Gosh, sad and sorry to hear that Kate–seems like the things you write are positive and helpful– not condemning or inviting bad responses. It seems like you just set out a big variety of topics that need some thinking through, some chewing over. I’m glad you’re still writing…

  1. Rhonda, I’ve been away and I’ve missed reading your posts! What a beautiful Scripture from Psalms. It’s so hard to wait sometimes without getting anxious. So many words here are encouraging… hope, help, shield, rejoice, trust, unfailing love. My favorite phrase is, “…we put our hope in you.” Thank you for sharing this. Praying your heart is filled with His peace as you wait upon Him.
