Say thank you.

thank-you.
Hi friends–  Ran across this and it struck a chord with me.

“When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate.  An when life is bitter, say thank you and grow.”    –Shauna Niequist from her book Bittersweet.

This week has held a full share of sweet and along with some painfully bitter.  The sweet is easy– I’ve enjoyed every moment with our kids down from San Francisco.  The bitter is, of course, more tricky.  God how do you want me to grow through these bitter days?  Keep my heart tender to you.  I’m depending on your help.  Lord have mercy.

“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you.”  I Thessalonians 5:18

  1. Rhonda, your attitude shows the spiritual maturity we should all have. It’s easy to appear strong when everything is fine, but when the storm winds blow, we’re challenged to the very core. How comforting that we are not alone. The Comforter is with us. I pray you will sense His strength and His presence in these days, my friend. xoxo
