Morning by Morning

“Relying on God has to begin all over again every day as if nothing yet had been done.”
— C.S. Lewis (British writer, theologian, Oxford professor, 1898-1963)

I love that each morning as I wake up, I know God is close, listening, ready to share the day ahead with me.

“Morning by morning, O Lord, you hear my voice;
morning by morning I lay my requests before you
and wait in expectation.  — Psalm 5:3

    • HI Daisy!! so true and comforting. Just checked into your blog– loved the sweet pretty little flowered dress!! My grandma made all my clothes growing up– I’m sure your grand daughter will always remember your sewing for her… hugs hugs Daisy!

  1. Thank you for your post. When I am away on a trip and not in my usual home surroundings, sometimes I remember him more in the things I see and experience, and sometimes I get super distracted. Thanks for the words to remind me. xo

    • Hey Debra– I get what you mean. I can see God in the beauty of travel (and we had a marvelous worshipful time in a little church plant in Seattle), but so often I’m distracted by all the hub bub of travel. Anyway, home now and I think you are too. Blessings, xox
