Food & Football in San Francisco

IMG_5351Hi there friends–  We had a fine food-filled weekend in San Francisco–topped with a fun (if less than victorious) footall game at the Cal Memorial Stadium  Go Bears!

IMG_5332IMG_5324   Saturday morning we set off to to tour the offices at Ani’s new job–housed in one or the first sky-scrappers in SF, a mix of art deco and industrial modern.  Big fun to see where she spends her days.  And we followed that up with  colorful lunch at a Jamaican restaurant a short walk away.

Fish tacos for two,  jerk chicken,  and pineapple agua fresca.

IMG_5347     IMG_5349Across the Bay Bridge, we made our way to Albany to settle in a Little Star Pizza.  We just couldn’t decide between deep dish and thin crust, so we settled for both.  It’s a bright modern spot with a front wall that opens to a charming shopping street.  Loved it.

extravaganza.

  1. So much lovely food! and I liked how you ordered both pizzas because you couldn’t decide – I would do that too.

I’ve actually never had a deep dish pizza ever! it’s going on the bucket list.
