Hello you all– Making cookies usually involves cups of flour, some baking powder, sugar– all the usual cookie ingredients with a couple yummy extras throw in. But these crazy little cookies, start with a cake mix and pile on so many extras, they are crunchy, chewy good! (and pretty easy).
1 (18.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 cup coconut
1 cup oats
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup cornflakes
1 cup chocolate chips
In large bowl with electric mixer, mix cake mix, butter, and eggs. Then blend in the coconut, oats, walnuts, cornflakes, and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Flatten them a bit with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
Bake them up at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about delicious 54 cookies.
Mmm crunchy and chewy!!
Thanks Charisma– the only problem is eating too many of them.
Oh I love those cookies, anything with cereal is good for me. They sound fantastic!
Hi Suzanne– yep, cereal is a magic ingredient here!
